Homoeopathy - the transformative medicine for chronic illnesses

We have known so many people who have been suffering from illnesses that last a life time. The patient and the patient’s family are always in a hope of that one thing that would end this suffering. Hope lies eternal in the human breast. And so the patients and the relatives are in search for that one hope which will deliver them from their miseries.

Chronic illnesses generate a lot of burden on the patient, care takers, health care professionals and the economy. The effects are spread far and wide affecting the individual, society and economy as a whole. The suffering of those who care for the chronically ill are often missed out and they often happen to neglect their own health. Stress related illnesses, depression, anxiety aren’t uncommon in the primary care givers.

In such cases, the purpose of therapy is not only to restore the health but to change the outlook towards life by transforming the individual to better deal with the adversities of life.

Homoeopathic medicines are given to the individual, to the one who suffers and not to the illness. It means that the medicines take into account the total experience of the patient, the sensations and the discomforts that are a part of the patient. Let us say that this suffering is a fixed pattern of reaction to the experiences in the patient’s life.

Thus the only way that the suffering ends is when the fixed pattern is broken. Homoeopathic history is the first step towards breaking this pattern. This is the step when the patient becomes aware of the cause of suffering and an insight into the route to health. The next step is consumption of indicated homoeopathic medicines.

Just as the chronic disease takes time to build up, it is also expected that the cure takes proportionate amount of time. It is not the medicines but the diseased mind and body that take time to act - to heal and transform.

Homoeopathic treatment requires that the process of healing must be a continuous one and followed to a harmonious end. It thus calls for regular follow up with your homoeopathic doctor and sharing the experience of transformation from illness to health. This helps your doctor to plan the next step of treatment.

It is also required for you to continue homoeopathic treatment after you have not one symptom left from your illness, the reason being that the deeper tendencies take longer to be eradicated.

You only have to follow up on required basis thereafter.

Let’s get talking and connect face-to-face.
